1. Controller and scope
Defnolia Woman is provided by Defnolia Studios. Privacy requests may be sent to defnoliastudios@gmail.com. This policy covers the Android application with package name com.defnolia.woman, its modules and the support pages on this website.
2. Information processed on your device
- Optional profile information, such as a display name, date of birth, language and interests.
- Cycle records, including period dates, cycle length, flow and locally calculated estimates.
- Wellbeing records, such as mood, pain, energy, sleep, water, fasting, journal entries and check-ins.
- Preferences, favourites, reminders, app-lock configuration and local module progress.
These records are processed for features requested by you and are stored locally. On supported Android devices, sensitive app records are protected with Android Keystore-backed encryption. They are not uploaded to a Defnolia health-profile server.
3. Purchases and limited third-party processing
The production app may use Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to display subscription products, process purchases, restore purchases and verify premium entitlement. These services may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and transaction status, store country, standard device/app information and network connection data. Defnolia Woman does not send cycle, diary, mood or other health records to these services.
If optional remote content is enabled in a later release or you open an external link, the destination may receive standard connection information such as an IP address. Any such use will be reflected in the relevant release and this policy.
4. Advertising, analytics and sale of data
Defnolia Woman does not include an advertising SDK, does not use personal health records for advertising and does not sell personal information. The current release does not use a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
5. Retention, backup and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. In Profile → Data and backup → Delete all data, you can remove local records, scheduled notifications and widget details. Encrypted backup files are created only when requested by you and are stored at the location you choose. Defnolia cannot recover a forgotten backup password.
Google Play and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations. See the data deletion page for detailed steps.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, including the GDPR and Türkiye's Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you may request information, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning information processed by Defnolia Studios. Because personal health records are stored locally, Defnolia usually cannot view or retrieve them. Requests are answered without undue delay and within the applicable legal period.
7. Children, security and changes
The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over. No security measure is absolute; keep your device and any exported backup secure. Material policy changes will be dated here and, where appropriate, presented inside the app.
